Look at this little guy's hair!  Oh my gosh, what a doll this little fellow was!  And he rocked his session!  When he was awake, he was happy to just chill and watch what we were doing, and when he slept - well, you can see how adorable he is sleeping too!  

Winter Maternity - Steinbach Manitoba Family Photographer

I love outdoor pictures.  I own a studio and lots of props because some things just can't be done outside where I live for the cold months, and  for newborns there is likely all of 3 days year it would be ok outside! We either have giant mosquitoes or below freezing temperatures -  Neither is very baby friendly :(  So when couples and families are willing to brave the cold for some outdoor extras when it's a chilly -30 with the windchill, I am pumped!  It feels like a FIELD TRIP! lol!  This winter especially I feel like I've been cooped up in the studio as my only photo option - it's been bitterly cold here.  Even though we stayed close to the house, using my lovely yard for scenery (that's not sarcastic, I really love my acreage for photos!) it was very nice to get out, and nice to be close to warm up again.   Hooray for outside!

Tiffany is so gorgeous, and such a joy to work with doing photos.  I really love how her photos turned out, and I'm so excited for her and Matt as they get ready to welcome baby number 2!

Chesney is 4!!

My little friend Chesney came for her 4 year photos at the beginning of February.  I can't believe how big she's getting!  She is definitely photogenic, to say the least, but she's also one of the sweetest little girls I have ever met.
And, as a fun extra, her mom brought along her wedding dress, and Chesney got to play dress up.  She absolutely beamed when she saw how she looked in her mom's 'princess dress'!  What a great keepsake to give her on her own wedding day some day!

Mr. Carter -Steinbach Photographer, Newborn

Carter came in at only 4 days old!  The new sweetness about him was just heavenly!  As usual, I really loved photographing him and hanging out with his great family during the session!

Little Rocco - Steinbach Photographer

At not quite 4 days new, little Rocco came to the studio for his first ever photo shoot.  Mom and Dad are big hockey fans, so the session had lots of hockey props in it, as well as a crochet set I made to bring in #87 since Dad is a Sidney Crosby fan in particular.
Anyone who knows my son will know that Sidney Crosby is also his favourite player, so I was able to borrow some of his items to create a Pittsburgh themed set! It worked out so well!

Miss Hailey - Steinbach Photography

What a great break I had over Christmas and most of January!  I came back refreshed and ready to go again!

Miss Hailey was my first newborn of the year, and what a sweetheart she is!  I absolutely love all the headbands and "girly" stuff in these photos!  And with two older brothers, she is going to be one loved on little girl :)
