Sweet Sophia came in for her 3 year photos! I really love these! Her big blue eyes are so gorgeous and the color combination was great! This is a new backdrop in the studio so it was fun to use it.

the Penner Family
Along with those cute One year photos, we also did some family ones. It was really like 2 sessions at one time, and I enjoyed this one just as much! This is such a great and fun family!
Cheyanne and Sophia turn ONE!
What could be cuter than one little princess having her first birthday? How about TWO little princesses turning one! This was SUCH a good time in the studio... here are just a few of my favorites! We ended with a Mini Cake-Smash (cupcakes!), how ADORABLE!

He's THREE!
Ok, actually he's been 3 for a few months, but Mom wanted "official" pictures done for it, and of course, I was more than willing. While we were at it, big sis got some done too ... I couldn't be happier with these!
I enjoyed these kids so much! The little guy reminded me of when my own boys were that age! Energy on top of energy with some on top to spare! A lot of these shots were great 'stills' from action! (high shutter speeds!! lol!)
And like any little girl, the dress up and pretty pink backgrounds suited big sis so much! She was a doll to work with, so quiet and cooperative!
Really, and truly, I LOVE MY JOB!

One of the Guys
I get to work with my hubby sometimes. We have a lot of fun on the days I tag along to take photos of the finished homes for the construction company he manages for. I usually get a pretty sweet lunch date out of it, at some of the cute diners around the province. That's off topic though ...
I was pretty pumped that I was asked to do take a few (literally) photos of the "boys" for some promotional use, and I think they turned out quite well! I didn't even have to break out the candy for bribes. lol ;)

Baby Bridgette
This session is the perfect example of why I love working with Newborns so much! They are so unique and have such amazing personalities already!
This little princess had me amazed! 2.5 weeks old and she was holding her head up as if it were the most common thing in the world for a newborn to be able to do! She wasnt the biggest fan of laying down, preferring to sit in something propped up, and she was quite content to be awake through most of the shoot.
I absolutely love these photos, and it's a change from the"sleepy baby" newborn session, although I adore those as well!

Baby Logan
Sweet baby Logan was the PERFECT little model for the hats I've been obsessed crocheting lately. My stack of finished ones was growing daily, and I wasn't even sure how they would fit on a real newborn. Well, some fit perfectly, others were WAY too small (I really misjudged the size of a newborn head with some) and others were just "meh". They just didn't look quite how I had hoped. Here are some of Logan's photos ... with the hats that I loved, and without, since he was such a doll no matter what was on him!
